Pass Drivers Ed Course

Before you can take your written test at the DMV, you must pass a state-approved Drivers Ed course and receive your completion certificate.

Pass Written Test at DMV

Ready to go? Make a reservation at the DMV and go pass your test! Once you pass, you will receive your permit.

Take Driving Lessons

While optional in Nevada, we highly recommend taking at least three driving lessons with a professional instructor.

Pass your Road Test

After holding your permit for six months, you can take your road test. Make a reservation at the DMV and go pass your test to receive your license.

We wanted to reach out personally with an important update: Coastline will be wrapping up its behind-the-wheel operations in Nevada on May 31.

If you’d like to get lessons in before we go, you can purchase through April 15 and book sessions any time through May 31. We’d encourage you to grab a spot sooner rather than later as availability tends to fill up fast.
